Arrive Koh Phangan
Koh Phangan
Fly Bangkok → Koh Samui (or take overnight train + ferry). From Koh Samui take the ferry to Koh Phangan (~30 min, £5). Check in to Had Rin area — Sarana Bungalows (same as the Kilroy tour uses) or Pha-Ngan Bayshore Resort. Drop bags, hit the beach.

Explore the Island
Koh Phangan
Rent a scooter (£5/day) and do a full island loop. Hit Thong Nai Pan beach in the north (stunning, quiet), Bottle Beach, the Phaeng Waterfall (£2 entry), and the Big Buddha viewpoint. Evening: Thai cooking class or Muay Thai session.

Full Moon Party Night 🌕

Day free — rest up. Get UV-painted on the beach (£5), pick up cheap drinks early before prices spike, claim your spot on Had Rin Nok beach at dusk. The party starts building around 9pm and runs through sunrise. Free entry — just walk in from the beach.

Recovery Day
Koh Phangan
Nobody functions today. Smoothie bowl, hammock, pool bar. If you can move: the 7-Eleven smoothies are legendary post-FMP recovery. Optional afternoon snorkelling trip (£15 for a longtail boat). Sunset dinner at the pier.

Checkout
Koh Phangan → onwards
Ferry back to Koh Samui for flights, or ferry direct to Surat Thani for the overnight train to Bangkok. Some people extend on Koh Phangan — it has a way of doing that. Book onward transport on 12go.asia the night before.
