1. What Travel Crew is

Travel Crew is a SaaS platform — we sell access to a matching and communication service that helps members plan self-guided itineraries, publish open departures, and find verified travel companions. Travel Crew is not a tour operator, travel agent, or booking platform, and we do not sell tours. We do not organise, supervise, guide, insure, or take responsibility for any trip, departure, or booking arranged through the site.

2. Verification

A verified profile is required to join a departure. Verification (via a third-party identity verification provider) confirms identity only — it is not a background check, character reference, or safety guarantee. We do not vet trip leaders or members beyond verification status, and are not responsible for the conduct, safety, reliability, or suitability of any other member. You are solely responsible for your own safety decisions, travel insurance, and judgement when meeting and travelling with people you find through Travel Crew.

3. Seat fees & refunds

Joining a departure requires paying a seat fee. The seat fee is payment for a platform service — verified group access and unlocked messaging with that departure's confirmed members — which is delivered when your payment is confirmed. It is not payment for a tour or trip.If a departure does not reach its minimum group size and does not run, you will not receive a cash refund; you will receive platform credit equal to the amount paid, redeemable toward any future departure's seat fee. 4. Pricing, estimates & comparisons

All cost estimates, savings figures, and comparisons to commercial operator pricing are approximate and for illustration only. See our pricing & comparisons disclaimer for full detail. We are not liable for any difference between an estimate shown on Travel Crew and the actual cost of a trip.

5. User-generated content

By publishing an itinerary, departure, review, or profile content, you confirm it is your own original content (or independently generated via our Tour Buster from your own description) and that you have the right to publish it. You're responsible for its accuracy. We may remove content that is inaccurate, infringing, or breaches these terms.

6. Tour operators directory

Operators listed in our directory are independent businesses, not affiliated with or endorsed by Travel Crew unless stated. Booking with an operator forms a contract between you and that operator directly — Travel Crew is not a party to it and is not responsible for the operator's tours, pricing, or conduct. We may earn a referral commission on some bookings, as described in our disclaimer.

7. Membership & payments

Membership is paid by trip leaders to publish an active departure, billed via Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Billing automatically pauses once your departure reaches its group size and closes to new joiners, and resumes if you publish another active departure — you only pay while actively recruiting. Browsing itineraries and departures, and requesting to join one, is always free. You can cancel at any time from your account. Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travel Crew is not liable for any loss, injury, cost, or damage arising from a trip, departure, booking, or interaction with another member or operator arranged through the platform.
